The name “Kalamaki” is deeply rooted in the traditions of the village, harking back to a time when the surrounding seas were rich with marine life. Kalkan started attracting tourists in the 1960s and has seen steady growth ever since, all while preserving its uniquely relaxed and traditional ambiance.
